OASIS MEMBERSHIP

Anyone with a disability who is interested in being a self advocate

Be a member of The Arc of Arizona.

Pay dues of $2.00 and an item for food drive at each meeting.

Attend monthly meetings.

Be willing to assist with fund raising

Be willing to have lots of fun.
MEETINGS

The Oasis Club meets once a month. The officers of the Oasis Northwest facilitate running the meeting. The members of the club elect officers once a year.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at the American Legion, Post #1 at 364 N. 7th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona.

Meetings are informative, educational and fun. Social events and fund raising events are also held.

OASIS GOALS

To learn about human rights and how to exercise them.
To advocate for ourselves and for other persons with disabilities.
To advocate for better services, housing, jobs, and transportation.
Advocate and help in legislative decisions at the state and national levels.
Conduct fundraising activities to enable members to attend self -advocacy conferences, workshops and annual meetings.
